Yōshoku is Japanese-style western cooking — familiar comfort food reimagined through a Japanese lens. At Cafe Tamago we serve homemade curry, donburi rice bowls and fluffy omurice, each made with care in our little corner of Winton.

Authentic Japanese in Bournemouth
Cafe Tamago began with a simple wish — to bring authentic Japanese flavours to the heart of Winton, Bournemouth. What started as a love for homemade comfort food has grown into a little neighbourhood spot where every dish is made fresh to order.
From rich, slow-cooked Japanese curries and silky bowls of udon to fluffy omurice and freshly whisked matcha, we serve the kind of food we grew up loving. Whether you're after a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner, we'd love to welcome you to our table.
